The district nurse is a registered general nurse and is specially trained in primary healthcare. The district nurse can help you order assistive devices and any lighter medication you may need. We also offer remote consultation via the app. Download Halsan's app and book an appointment.
District nurse clinic
You turn to the district nursing clinic to get help with blood pressure management, asthma, mild infections and wound dressing. The clinic also works as a geriatric consulting clinic and can assist with advice on age-related illnesses and healthcare.

- Injections
- Urinary tract infections
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Mild infections
- Blood pressure checks
- Wound dressings
- Removal of stitches
- Urinary incontinence products
- Diabetes aids and devices
- Spirometry (pulmonary function tests)
- Technical aids (such as crutches)
- General health advice
Make an appointment
You can be referred to the district nurse, but you can also make an appointment by calling the reception or the district nurse directly. The nurse will ring you back once you’ve left a message on the answering machine.
