Are you feeling worried or anxious?
Are you in mourning?
Are you having difficulty sleeping?
You do not need a diagnosis of mental illness to get help from us. We always do an assessment on what type of care is most suitable at your first appointment.
You are welcome to contact us should you be feeling depressed, worried, fearful, exhausted or overwhelmed. Similarly, do not hesitate to reach out to us if you’re experiencing panic attacks, anxiety or are having problems concentrating. Treatment of mental illness is as important as any other illness. We use CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy) in our treatments.
We adapt to your needs
Through short meetings and a so-called stepped care programme we adapt your care to your needs and how you’re feeling. We can even adapt our meetings with you based on what suits you best and offer talk therapy both via video calls and physical meetings.
We strive to make it as easy as possible for you to get suitable help. If we are not able to offer you what you need, we will help you by referring you to a psychiatrist.
Support for children and adolescents
At Hälsans Vårdcentral in Tensta we also help children and adolescents with mental illness. We are able to assist children and adolescents between the age of 1-17 years as well as their parents and offer counseling, information and talk therapy. We also provide family counseling to find a way for adolescents to feel better. Mental illness in children and young adults often manifests in worry, depression, stress, aggression, temporary crises, sleeping problems, social issues, conflicts in the home and/or eating disorders.
Should we believe you need more in-depth help, we can help you further in the process and can refer you to specialists.
A visit to our counselor or psychologist costs 100kr per session and an exemption card (frikort) is included. Counselling is free of charge for children. Cancellations are charged at 400kr per session.
